Training the people others rely on.
Melbourne Training Academy (MTA) is a North Melbourne training provider specialising in Security Operations, First Aid and CPR. We're accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, and everything we do is aimed at one outcome: graduates who are confident, capable and ready for work.

An optimal learning environment, so every student can reach their full potential.
MTA was built around a simple idea: people learn safety-critical skills best by doing them. Our courses combine a current, industry-relevant curriculum with plenty of hands-on practice, so the skills stick long after the class ends.
Whether you're starting a career in security, meeting a workplace first aid requirement or refreshing your CPR, you'll train with experienced instructors in modern classrooms designed for both theory and practical work.
We take pride in our students' achievements. Upon completion, graduates are well prepared to pursue careers in their chosen field, and our team stays in their corner along the way.
Three courses, one standard.
Each course is delivered face to face at our North Melbourne campus and ends with nationally recognised certification.

Our courses are led by instructors who are among the best in their fields. They bring real industry experience into the room, so you learn how things work on the job, not just in the textbook.
Practical first
Hands-on sessions, simulations and real-life scenarios reinforce every skill, from bandaging and CPR to patrols and crowd control, so you build confidence through doing.
Modern facilities
Classrooms equipped with current technology for interactive learning, with dedicated spaces for theory and for practical exercises. Safety and comfort come first.

We keep classrooms free of distractions, encourage questions and critical thinking, and give supportive feedback so every student can do their best work.
